Using Web 2.0 to help advertise your website

Lets say you have a website and you have just spent time creating it or you paid someone a lot of money to create. How can you promote it for no money? One of the answers is using Web 2.0 technology. For the most part, all you have to do is set up an account with the following on-line services and ad then make it apart of your schedule to update each service once in awhile. Here are the Web 2.0 On-line services that are all the buzz these days.Blogger.com https://www.blogger.com/start Twitter.com http://twitter.com/Myspace.com http://www.myspace.com/Facebook.com http://www.facebook.com/
Blogger is great because, as you may all ready know, you can set the blog up really fast and then post to it within seconds. And your done. The whole world knows what you have to say.Twitter is nice because you can give brief updates about what your up to. You can place a few lines of code into blogger, facebook, myspace and other programs and they will all be updated instantly.Myspace although slow at time has a wide range of people you can get in touch with. You can post bulletins and be in the forefront of everyone. Just try not to overdo it.Facebook is a classy and well run social networking tool. Most people prefer this to myspace. But when promoting a company, you may just want to have every outlet available. There are some that I did not mention today, they are in their early stages and for the most part will be mentioned at a later date, when I get the chance to test them out.So, how can using Web 2.0 help advertise your website. Simple. When you sign up for these accounts and spend some time developing social networks, this helps build your company rep and brand.By placing the links from your accounts on your website, this makes Google happy as well as other search engines. Your sites importance according to Google goes by the content and outbound/inbound links. Now get out there and expand your business.-Matson
